Two for Tuesday: Parody

This is a weekly meme idea I stole borrowed from Kate Hart. I discovered it when I linked to one of her posts via Twitter last week. Basically you post two of anything, but you have to connect them somehow. This seemed like a lot of fun and a way for me to easily expand my blog content to make it a little more regular and varied.

Sunday, inspired by a video Catherine linked to her Facebook feed (yes I am involved in way too much social media), I started browsing around for fun videos to use in class about plagiarism. It's always such a dull topic and I was hoping to look for ways to liven it up when I came across this hilarious and well done parody.

First I will post the original Carrie Underwood music video, because the other one is funnier if you've seen this. Also because, for reasons I just don't quite fathom, I absolutely love this song.

Second, here's the parody version.

Hope you enjoyed!

Thumb update: I go to an orthopedic tomorrow, so hopefully I will have good news then :)

Ha!!! Love!!!

I love Carrie Underwood. I don't listen to a lot of country, but I really like her. Last year, a friend asked me to go to her Philly concert and I was like sure, why not, I like her... I was completely blown away. That girl has mad crazy pipes!

Of course, loved the teacher parody, too! :D Glad with the little ones at least I don't have to deal with that... :)
